On September 23rd, a group of good friends celebrated Anne’s second 30th birthday with a series of surprises.
Conniving girlfriends kidnapped Anne from her home, tortured her with a massage and pedicure at Sirens at the Loft Salon & Day Spa, then force-fed her dinner at Bonefish Grill. The finale was sneak attack with a foot cake!
Why a foot cake? Anne has an anti-foot fetish. She doesn’t like to be near bare feet, or worse, touch bare feet. In loving fun, girlfriends, Zoe and Maude, thought of a foot birthday cake for Anne. We all thought it was a fabulous idea including Anne’s hubby, Joe (accomplice and inside man).
Zoe did a Google image search and found the cake design pictured on the left. The Cake Gallery made a foot cake based off this image. Zoe said it was easy working with the Cake Gallery.
A bare foot is created for Anne! See below.
The Cake Gallery did a great job creating an awesome-looking, life-like foot cake!
How did Anne react to the cake?
Anne and the group were all smiles and laughter. I asked Anne about her experience when she saw the cake. Anne shared:
“When I saw the cake I thought it was hilarious, I laughed so hard I cried just because you all got it so perfect, it was really funny.”
It was a hoot seeing Anne’s reaction, watching the foot being cut up, and then eating the foot pieces.

Flavor-wise, I thought the regular white cake was decent. Light, simple white cake. I was more wowed by the foot cake design itself and very happy with Anne’s happy reaction.
The foot cake for Anne was a hit!

It is a genius idea to make a foot cake haha. I wonder how it tastes like. Seriously, it looks yummy. Not too sweet, I guess!
Not too sweet. Beneath the “skin” it’s a regular white cake “meat”! Comparable in taste to other white cakes I have had.
